FAN of Winchester

The Family Action Network (FAN) is a vibrant non-profit providing parenting resources, facilitating the exchange of ideas, and offering a support network to Winchester families with infants and small children. Over 300 local families serve as a comprehensive resource, unifying Winchester's programming for young families. FAN thrives because of the enthusiasm and energy of its members; more than 80 volunteers implement programs including playgroups, parent social events, and children's events like the Kid's Olympics on Town Day. In addition to the monthly print newsletter, an annual Best of Winchester Guide and a comprehensive preschool survey, the members' area of their website provides multiple benefits to FAN families. FAN's outreach programs have two objectives: town-wide initiatives, such as the Eco Festival, focused on helping families build the broader community, and charitable initiatives, teaching children the importance of giving back.
