Beach Project Volunteers and Opportunities

Project Chair, Elizabeth Angelino, FAN Co-President

Design Committee Chair, Andrea Cox, FAN Co-President, Project Design Chair
This Committee will manage park design, site preparation and the installation of the water park and safety issues. This Committee is well staffed.

Fundraising Committee, Casey Bauer, Project Fundraising Chair
This Committee would appreciate help in raising money needed for the project. This includes:

  • Sending out business mailings (we have the mailer and the mailing list ready)
  • Seeking sponsorships and grants and some follow-up. Anyone with grant writing experience would be very welcomed!
  • Encouraging resident participation
  • Once sponsors are secured this committee, ensuring that they receive all their sponsor benefits.

Events Committee
This Committee is looking for a Chair to oversee all of the events and coordinate with the other Committee Chairs.

The sky’s the limit on what you can do and organize!

Publicity Committee, Kim King, Publicity Chair
This committee will develop promotional materials, banners, signage, and press releases. This committee will publicly recognize any major donors, in the media, and so on. Areas we could use help on:

  • Updating information on various internet sites like, big tent, face book, MySpace, twitter, American towns………and any others you can find
  • Looking for new media outlets
  • Disseminating printed material around town

Website, Kara Yimoyines, FAN Technology Chair
This committee is responsible for keeping www.fansplash.org updated as well as overseeing BigTent group.

  • Volunteer needed to upload sponsors to the public website
